Lifetime warranty on custom vinyl windows & doors

At Value Windows & Doors serving Houston and Stafford, TX, we are proud of the quality workmanship of our custom vinyl windows and doors and are pleased to offer you the following Full Lifetime Warranty. We warrant our products to be free from defects in material or workmanship that significantly impair their proper operation for the lifetime of your home as long as you own it.

Coverage of your custom windows & doors

The lifetime coverage of this warranty applies to original owners of single-family homes and owners of single-family homes who purchase Value Windows and Doors for remodeling or replacement. This warranty is to the original purchaser for as long as they own and occupy their single-family home. In the event the original homeowner transfers ownership of the home, this warranty may be transferred to the new owner for up to ten years from the original date of purchase. Any warranty claims will require proof of purchase and of continuous ownership. Color Coating is warranted for fifteen years from the date of purchase.

Note: The warranty does not cover windows and doors that are sold for the following use: commercial buildings, multifamily housing, or any type of new construction installation in tract housing. Products used in these types of installations will be warranted for ten years from the original purchase date of the product.

Warranty on materials & components

Value Windows & Doors serving Houston and Stafford, TX warrants that the vinyl sash and frame members will be free from defects such as cracking, peeling, flaking, or blistering. Screens are warranted against defects in material for a period of one year. Replacement screens will be delivered to the nearest Value Windows & Doors dealer/distributor.

Residential Vinyl Window / Door Warranty

  1. Subject to the terms and conditions stated herein, the manufacturer warrants to the Original Purchaser that under normal use and service, all window and/or patio door products, including mechanical parts and insulated glass, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product:

    • Vinyl products will be free from blistering, peeling, flaking, rotting, or corrosion.

    • There will be no material obstruction of vision on the internal surfaces of the insulated glass unit caused by sealant failure.

    • Component parts will be free from any and all manufacturing defects.

    A new replacement part will be provided upon receipt of the original part or validation of the complaint. The manufacturer reserves the right to require the return of defective parts.

  2. The warranties cover only manufacturing defects and do not include damages caused by:

    • Improper installation, use, or application of the product.
    • Accidents, vandalism, fire, floods, or acts of God (earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.).
    • Modification, alteration, neglect, or exposure to extreme temperatures.
    • Stresses caused by building defects, settlement, or movement.
    • Use of harmful cleaning solutions.
    • Misalignment of grilles/muntins of 1/8″ or less.
    • Fading or color variations due to aging/weathering.

  3. The warranties for insulated glass products do not cover:

    • Minor blemishes or slight curvature.
    • Color variations.
    • Glass breakage.
    • Condensation due to humidity and temperature differentials.
    • Glass transport or installation above 3,500 feet without capillary tubes.
    • Natural migration of inert gas infills.
    • Use of aftermarket films.

  4. All window and patio door products should be inspected prior to or at the time of installation.

  5. The warranties set forth above are in lieu of all other expressed warranties. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility beyond replacement or repair.

  6. The warranties cover materials only and do not cover removal/reinstallation costs. The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect all warranty claims.

  7. The manufacturer is not liable for consequential damages or loss of other property.

  8. Some states do not allow limitations on how long a warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply.

  9. Eligibility Requirements: The warranties apply only to the Original Purchaser, defined as:

    • The original titleholder or occupant of the structure in which the product was installed.
    • Any inquiry must include the purchaser’s name, address, date of purchase, and product information.

  10. Non-Transferability: The warranties are non-transferable except as noted in Section 9.

  11. If any part of the warranties is deemed void in any state, the remaining portions will remain in full effect.
